It is big news at the moment, and you can get some innovative and useful things sent to you or a loved one through the post. In fact, I challenge you to find someone that you can’t match a subscription box to. Just check out the examples below to see how easy it is.
Cohorted
Let’s start with one of the high-end boxes that are available in the UK. Cohorted is a luxury beauty box that comes once a month. It costs £35 plus p&p. In the box, you receive around 5 full-size products from luxury brands. Past boxes have seen eyeshadows from Chanel, lip pencils from MAC and full-size bottles of perfume from the Bodyshop. They also keep abreast of the newer brands and have included Too faced and MDM this year.

Another beauty box, but this time at a lower price, Glossybox is one of the most popular subscription services in the UK. Each month you receive a pretty pink ‘glossy box,’ filled with makeup and beauty items. Some are full size while others are samples and they can range from lipsticks to shower gels.

Your sister, daughter or girlfriend that loves beauty but isn’t too fussed about wearing luxury brands all the time.
Lucky Dip Club
The Lucky Dip Club is another monthly subscription box service. Instead of beauty products it contains craft, kitsch and stationery items for the young and hip crowd. So far the boxes have included at least one piece of jewellery like a funky enamel pin or necklace charm per month.
You also get a cool selection of other bits and bobs like crochet octopus kits, and key rings and artwork. Perfect to decorate a bedroom or home office.

Bearded Colonel
The bearded colonel is a razor blade subscription service that you can choose to receive monthly, two monthly or three monthly. It is a clever idea for the man in your life, as it provides a quality razor, with blade refills. This means that they never have to have a bad, uncomfortable shave with a blunt razor again.

Perfect for your son, brother or husband that likes to be clean shaven but doesn’t always remember to buy new blades.
Cheese Posty
Cheese Posty is a truly remarkable and innovative idea. It is a postal sandwich delivery service. That’s right you let them know your dietary requirements and they post you all the ingredients for a delicious gourmet toasty. All you have to do is assemble it, and i use the bag it comes with to pop in in the toaster. Yum!
Who is it for?
Busy mums that don’t have time to cook something for themselves to eat. Or, office types, that have lunchtime meetings that they usually sit through hungry and sad. Also, basically anyone that likes toasties, or cheese, or cheese toasties.
