Project 365 Week 4

It’s been lovely having Xene home this week, and thankfully everyone has been back in school, hooray! Although Asa has been SO busy this week, I have barely seen him, I have quite gotten used to him being around the house, although I can’t complain as it means there is lots of work on, which means money to be made, and I am sure both our cars are due for an upgrade and I can’t do that without any money!

Day 21 – For the last few weeks the children have been desperate to take Merrie on the actual beach, but we decided to wait until Xene was home, typical it was the coldest, wettest day we have had in ages, but everyone was insistent we still went, Merrie certainly enjoyed herself in the sea, I am further up the beach with Tyrus, Viggo and Lochlan, who were keeping warm by huddling together and eating sweets!

Day 22 – Neva and I went to the theatre to watch Top Hat being performed By Norfolk and Norwich Operatic society, it was brilliant, the leading man was amazing, so much charisma and so much energy, every one of the people taking part was just fantastic, it was a brilliant evening.

Day 23 – I don’t get many photos of Lochlan, so when I saw him sitting giving Merrie a hug, I took a quick snap, as it’s very rare we seem him out of his room!

Day 24 – Tonight Xene, Neva and I went to the new local theatre to watch The Greatest Showman, Neva and I had been planning to go and see it shortly after Lochlan had been, and Xene was due to go see it with her flatmates in Hartlepool, but both had not happened and the film was due to finish on Friday, so we managed to just see it before it ended, although it’s only when I got home I noticed that Xene had been charged as a child!!

Day 25 – The beach has featured quite heavily this week, I find it so peaceful and everyone you meet is so friendly, Merrie gets so much attention. This is just before we took her onto the actual sand, she absolutely loved it and enjoyed digging in the sand, the only problem we will have is that she is so big but still a puppy, so all the dogs want to play but she seems enormous next to them. She came when I called her and she ran after the ball and then laid down with it until we caught her up!! Not quite got the hang of fetch yet…

Day 26 – Whilst Xene has been home for the week she has been working on some of her costumes, and today she went to the Roman Fort with Asa, Neva, Kaide and Viggo (and Merrie) to take some photographs, I love this one of my eldest child and my youngest, they all have such a great bond, and Viggo will certainly miss her when she goes back on Sunday, although he does seem to be under the impression that she lives in the ipad when she’s not at home! We facetime her and so to him that was the most obvious explanation that she lives in there!

Day 27 – Today Xene, Neva, Eowyn, Viggo, Asa and Merrie have gone off to the woods to take some more costume shots for Xene’s portfolio, which has left me with the three eldest boys. Tyrus is not known for wearing anything but pants, so it must have been cold this morning as he was sat on the ipad in his Olaf onesie!

And that’s our week, nearly at the end of January already, only another two weeks until half term, so now the children are on countdown!!

Hope you’ve all had a great week.

    • Yes I really enjoyed it, although its not long to wait until it comes out on dvd, just in time for my birthday at the end of March I believe!

  1. The costume is fabulous! Only two weeks until half-term here too. I’ve got no idea where the time has gone to! Merrie is gorgeous. It must be so nice to take her to the beach. We’re off to see The Greatest Showman tomorrow.

  2. Fab photos! Merrie is adorable. She does look like a puppy but huge! I can’t wait to see her fully grown. Eek! I keep hearing about The Greatest Showman and quite fancy watching it….

  3. Does your daughter make the costumes herself?! That is amazing! How lovely to live near the coast especially with a dog

  4. nice to see the teen out of his room with the dog.
Yes large dogs can be alarming for people out and about and never always sure if they are friendly or not, though in general most big dogs are soppy lumps.
