Project 365 2019

As many of you will know if you have been following my blog for the last few years, I have been attempting Project 365 for longer than I care to remember, a photo a day for the entire year, each year I have got further, but never really made it to the middle of the year, well this could be the year ( I Hope) although I am already playing catch up!

1st January 2019

Happy New Year!

This was taken just after midnight, I know because I started taking photos on the first strike of Big Ben and after 129 photos in quick succession, this one was one of the better ones, its quite difficult getting all seven children to look at the camera at the same time, without scratching, hair flicking, falling off the sofa etc And so begins 2019, hope its a good one.

2nd January 2019

Each year we take a walk to Burgh Castle Fort on Christmas Eve, we have done for many years, but before that we used to walk to Ashby Church, so today we decided that we would take a trip down memory lane and visit, with the essential snow Bites and Flask of Tea, it was strange walking there without any pushchairs or having a baby in a sling! They are certainly all growing up!

3rd January 2019

All of the children adore reading books, but these two especially, both had numerous books on their Christmas list, and this was quite a normal pose throughout the Christmas holidays, either reading books or on their phones, like two bookends!

4th January 2019

Kaide received a small ice hockey kit for Christmas, which involves filling the bottom with water and carefully placing it in the freezer to set, ensuring it is level! When this lot came home from school, it was frozen and ready for a couple of games, although you have to be quick as it melts quite quickly….

5th January 2019

Today we visited the Golden Arches to give their new Veggie Wrap Happy Meal and Spicy Veggie Wrap a try, don’t worry we didn’t forget the other two children, Tyrus wasn’t feeling very well, so stayed home with Lochlan, but he soon perked up when he was presented with some Chicken Nuggets (the absolute love of his life!) you can read about our thoughts on the new menu shortly.

I struggle to just get my two to look at the camera. I don’t think I could manage 7.
    Fab photos.

Welcome back! Maybe this could be the year you make it all the way to the end?! These are lovely photos of the kids. I wish my kids would read more, although my younger has just bought his first books in three years, so I’m hopeful that will be the start of something. I plan to sneak off to McDonald’s on my own this week for a spicy veggie wrap!

This is my first year and I’m hopeful of progressing although I don’t know how you get seven to look at the camera! Can’t beat being outdoors and I love your tradition. Look forward to catching up on your photos in the coming year.

Great family photos, I can’t imagine how you manage to have all of them looking in the camera. 🙂 Glad you have book lovers in the family. We are the same, love books. The ice hockey set sounds fab, my younger one would love it.
Wishing you energy and enthusiasm to last the whole year of the project. Last year I was ready to give up quite a few times, but managed to skip only one week, which is a big thing for me.
