Freezer-Friendly Fruits and Vegetables

Do you find it difficult to buy a good balance of fruit and vegetables without having them spoil and go bad? Trust me, I understand! This is why it’s important to educate yourself on freezer-friendly fruits and vegetables

I can’t stand when food goes to waste and since our family is large, it’s important to me that we find a way to preserve as much of it as we can.

If you’re like me, welcome! We’re all in this together. Throwing out food can be downright aggravating, right?

BUT luckily, there are certain fruits and vegetables that you can toss in your freezer for later! This means that it’s less food waste for you and even gives you a chance to stock up on food when it’s on sale, too. That’s a double win in my book.

Below you’ll find a free printable for Freezer-Friendly Fruits and Vegetables that are certain to be helpful and handy.

Can you freeze fresh vegetables?

You can! Just be certain that you wash and prep them as you would normally be removed the stems, pits, etc. before adding them to your freezer-safe bag or container.

Can you freeze fresh vegetables without blanching?

Yep, but many people blanching them first so it keeps their colouring bright and fresh looking. However, if you don’t want to or just don’t have the time, you can still freeze your vegetables without worry. They might discolour a bit but they should still taste just fine.
