Day 22 Is Vindaloo or Korma to celebrate #nationalcurryweek
Before I met Asa I never really had any thoughts about Indian food, my parents were not keen and the only curry my dad ever made was a jar of Curry sauce chucked in with some chicken, so when I first went out to an Indian restaurant with Asa I wasn’t sure if I would like it, but I LOVED it!
I’m not keen on very spicy curry, so I am happy with a Korma, my favourite is a Passanda and I quite like a Jalfrezi, either Chicken or Prawn, and I adore all of the accompaniments poppadums, naan breads, onion bhajis, samosas, bombay potatoes, sag aloo etc.
Unfortunately the children are not fans of Indian, apart from Neva who is a vegetarian and she likes the side dishes, so Asa and I tend to get an Indian as a treat from the supermarket, every couple of weeks, although not as delicious as going to an actual restaurant, a lot less hassle, much cheaper and no babysitter required!
