It will be the first time ever that I have been early for a year in review!
This year has been quite a good one, there is nothing that really sticks out as really bad, my mum had lots of health scares last year, but thankfully all her follow ups have been positive this year. Asa’s mum and dad have been in good health, they moved into a new house just before Christmas last year, instead of being 20 minutes away from us they are now over an hour, so the children haven’t seen as much of them as in previous years, but all the children are growing up and have their own lives, so they don’t notice too much.
Asa has been working hard all year on the various projects he is managing, now that Viggo is in preschool 4 days per week it does mean we get to have some time in the house alone together, we are usually both working, but it does mean we get to have lunch together and hold a conversation without being interrupted every 30 seconds, which is a bit strange! Although I am sure it will all descend into chaos it two weeks time the the puppy arrival, I have just got used to not worrying about what mischief the toddler will get into, and now it will all start again with Merrie!
I have already mentioned in a previous post how all the children are doing in education, you can check that out here.
Now that the children are getting older and do not need me 24/7 it does mean I am able to spend more time writing this blog and Big Family Little Adventures, there are also plans to start Big Dog Little Adventures, so that this blog doesn’t get too overcrowded with Puppy Posts!
I am loving being at home full-time and blogging is my main source of income, it means I am available for all of the children’s various appointments and out of school activities but it does mean I spend odd hours working (it is now 9pm and i’m only just getting this post written!).
I have no idea what 2018 will have in store for us, Viggo is due to start full-time education, the project Asa is currently working on is due to take place in the middle of June, Lochlan will finish Sixth Form, i’m quite excited to see what’s going to happen for The Morrisons. xxx
